Job Description

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled General Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing firm. This position offers a diverse range of litigation matters and the opportunity to represent clients in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general litigation principles, enjoy handling cases from inception through trial, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and litigate a diverse caseload, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial stages.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Conduct depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
Provide legal counsel to clients and advocate on their behalf.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.
Qualifications
2-5 years of general litigation experience.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Experience with discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Admission to the State Bar Virginia.
