Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

The Patient Services Representative supports the daily operations of the clinic by delivering an exceptional patient experience and ensuring smooth front-office workflow. This role is essential to maintaining efficient appointment management, accurate patient records, and positive interactions between patients and clinical staff. The PSR will work alongside a team of 2 medical receptionists and approximately 20 clinical staff members, including providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure a positive, professional front-desk experience.

• Check patients in and out of appointments.

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

• Verify insurance eligibility and collect necessary documentation.

• Scan and upload documents into the EMR system.

• Maintain accurate and organized patient records.

• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff.

• Support general administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting .

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.

• Previous experience with EMRs (Electronic Medical Records).

• Basic proficiency in Excel and general computer navigation.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
