Find your future with us. **Boeing Defense Space and Security** (BDS) **Business Development** (BD) is seeking a **Business Development Manager** (Level L), for the **Huntsville, AL** , **Field Operations Office** . The focus of this position is customer interface in support of Boeing's work with the US Army Transformation and Training Command (T2COM), US Army Materiel Command (AMC), Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Maneuver - Ground, PAE Maneuver - Air, PAE Fires, PAE Command and Control/Counter Command and Control (C2/CC2), PAE Sustainment and Ammunition, Capability Program Executive (CPE) Aviation, CPE Defensive Fires, CPE Offensive Fires, CPE Autonomy, CPE Ammo, CPE Contested Logistics, CPE C2, CPE INTEL, CPE Collective Training, Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), US Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC), and the Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC). In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Army & Special Operations Forces Business Development Field Operations Team who is also located at Huntsville. You will be a key member of the BDS and Boeing Global Services (BGS) Business Development Strategic Marketing team responsible for marketing activities and supporting all Boeing customer and community engagement efforts. You will represent all Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS), and Boeing Global Services (BGS), and Boeing Subsidiaries projects, programs, products, and capabilities for US Army and Special Operations Forces (SOF). This is a highly complex set of offerings for a rapidly evolving contested environment in all five domains (space, air, land, maritime, and cyber) - the key to this role is your ability to build relationships, listen to the customer, and communicate how Boeing products support the mission as well as schedule and affordability needs. This individual will contribute on matters related to the U.S. programs of record and will routinely interface with a diverse and geographically dispersed team while building and leveraging close working relationships with the Boeing Government Relations office, Field Operations Offices, BDS and BGS business units and Program Teams. This is a highly visible position where you will have the opportunity to build a long-term career with BDS, Business Development, and Field Operations while moving the business forward and enhancing shareholder value. This position will also supervise personnel at another Field Office. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor's Degree or higher + 10+ years of experience working with Department of Defense customers + 5+ years of quality experience in a Defense or Space related program (e.g. NASA, DoD, etc.) + Experience interfacing directly with senior military officials and executives + Communication experience, both written and verbal, with a comfort of representing the organization externally, and frequent interactions with executive-level management + Experience with DoD acquisition process and the role of the COCOM (Combatant Commander) in the requirements setting and acquisition process **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Experience with Government/DoW/Army budget, investments and acquisition processes along with an understanding of legislative or Congressional activities + Knowledge of the US Army Modernization Enterprise and the US Army Modernization Strategy + Knowledge of T2COM, AMC, PAE Maneuver - Ground, PAE Maneuver - Air, PAE Fires, PAE Command and Control/Counter Command and Control (C2/CC2), PAE Sustainment and Ammunition, CPE Office Aviation, CPE Defensive Fires, CPE Offensive Fires, CPE Autonomy, CPE Ammo, CPE Contested Logistics, CPE C2, CPE INTEL, CPE Collective Training, AMCOM, DEVCOM AvMC, USASAC, and USASMDC **This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.** **Travel:** The ability to travel 10-20% of the time **Shift:** 1st Shift **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
