As a Caregiver at Meadowview in Clive, you will help our residents with daily activities including passing medication . We are seeking caregivers who are team players and who are also comfortable working independently. 

Position Type:  Part-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including weekends

Shifts Available:
Day 6:00 Am - 10:30 PM
Evening 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Night (NOC) 10:00 PM - 6:30 PM 

Starting Wage:
$17.34 / hour
$18.34 / hour with Medication Manager Certification

Location:  3300 Berkshire Parkway, Clive, IA 50325

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• 1 year Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience required.
• Must be Med Aide certified.
• Memory care or dementia experience.
• A passion for geriatric care. 
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.
