Position: Consumer Insights Consultant

Location: Irvine, California (Hybrid – On-site Tuesday through Thursday, Remote Monday and Friday)

Overview:

Seeking an inspiring and collaborative Consumer Insights Consultant to support the Consumer Insights team. This role is crucial in providing information that drives, influences, and inspires strategic decision-making to propel the business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align the Consumer Insights team’s efforts with broader organizational goals, contributing to strategic decision-making and thought leadership.
• Assist in reimagining the future vision and structure of the Consumer Insights function.
• Conduct concept testing and product development research to support innovation pipelines.
• Deliver actionable consumer insights with a broad business perspective to inspire growth.
• Promote a consumer-centric mindset throughout the organization.
• Ensure the Consumer Insights team is recognized for expertise, curiosity, creativity, innovation, objectivity, storytelling, technical excellence, business acumen, strategic thinking, thought leadership, and adaptability to change.
• Balance internal research capabilities with external vendor support to drive best practices and optimal business outcomes.
• Present insights and strategic recommendations to project teams and leadership.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation by identifying, creating, and utilizing new research methodologies and approaches.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in designing, executing, managing, and leveraging consumer research using advanced methodologies and innovative techniques.
• Strong critical thinker and collaborator capable of delivering results within a matrixed organization.
• Comfortable interpreting statistical data while also applying trend awareness and intuitive decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and distill clarity and direction from complex consumer insights.

Work Requirements:

• Must be able to work on-site in Irvine, California, three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
