We’re looking for a hands-on Controller or Senior Finance Leader to oversee accounting operations, guide financial strategy, and partner directly with executive leadership at a fast-growing systems integration and engineering firm with over 200 employees and multiple U.S. locations.
This isn’t a sit-behind-the-spreadsheet role — it’s an opportunity to lead a small but mighty team (A/P, payroll, and accounting staff) and collaborate closely with project managers and engineers on real-world projects that move industries forward.
Oversee all accounting, reporting, and financial control functions.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.
Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Work within a project-based ERP environment to drive accuracy and visibility.
Coordinate with multiple vendors, customers, and internal project teams.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
8+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance (Controller-level or higher).
Prior experience in project-based , engineering , consulting , or manufacturing environments.
Strong systems background — you’re fluent in ERP, Excel, and modern financial tools.
A collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset.
Excellent communication skills and a knack for connecting with technical and operational teams.
