Data Analyst Intern

As our Data Analyst Intern you will:

• Perform data analysis accurately and timely using statistical techniques and data mining methods to identify trends and correlations for business units
• Interpret and present data findings to senior management in a clear and concise manner
• Build and manage data models, metrics, documents, templates, reports, and dashboards to understand daily operations and drive key business decisions.
• Design, develop custom dashboards, and reports to track key metrics. Automate and streamline reporting processes to ensure timely delivery of insights to senior management.
• Ensure all data is compliant with regulatory requirements maintaining data integrity and accuracy across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, product performance, and strategic goals to provide valuable insights, and analytical support.

Requirements:

• Two years' experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or related (or in progress at minimum)
• Basic knowledge of Credit Union operations, products, and services
• Basic technical knowledge. Experience with data visualization tools, programming languages, SQL, and Microsoft applications desired
• High problem-solving abilities, self-starter, and drive for willingness to learn
• Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with cross-functional colleagues
• Time management and organizational skills - must have the ability and drive to meet deadlines
• Financial institution experience preferred but not required

Hours:

20-28 hours a week

Business hours 8:30am-5:00pm with schedule based on availability
