We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering and updating data into our internal systems accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Identify and correct data entry errors.
Maintain organized files and documentation as needed.
Communicate with other departments to ensure accurate data processing.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 50 WPM preferred).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., scanner, printer, etc.) is an advantage.
Office-based or remote depending on the company setup.
May require extended periods of sitting and typing.
