Position Overview

Our family-owned business is seeking a dedicated, relationship-driven Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our two outlets. This role is ideal for a leader who values tradition, takes pride in stewardship, and understands the importance of consistency, accountability, and people in a multi-generational business.

The Director of Operations will work closely with ownership to uphold our standards, protect our reputation, and help guide the continued growth of the business while honoring its history and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of both outlets, ensuring alignment with the family’s values, standards, and long-term vision
• Serve as a trusted partner to ownership, translating goals into practical, day-to-day execution
• Lead, mentor, and support managers and team members, fostering loyalty, accountability, and professional growth
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences through consistent service, quality control, and attention to detail
• Manage budgets, labor, and operating costs with a strong sense of ownership and fiscal responsibility
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations
• Develop and refine systems, procedures, and best practices while respecting existing traditions
• Address operational challenges thoughtfully and proactively, with a focus on long-term relationships
• Maintain a visible, hands-on presence across both outlets

• Proven experience in hospitality or retail operations, preferably in a multi-unit or family-owned environment
• A leadership style rooted in trust, integrity, and accountability
• Strong financial and operational management skills
• Excellent communicator who values collaboration and clear expectations
• Comfortable balancing tradition with continuous improvement
• Willing to be hands-on and flexible, including evenings and weekends as needed
