Job Title: Event Planner
Location: Roxboro, NC
Compensation: $20/hour + potential commission (details TBD)

A premier event venue in Roxboro, NC, specializing in weddings, anniversary celebrations, and private gatherings. Under new ownership, the venue is entering an exciting growth phase, and we are seeking a dedicated Event Planner to take the lead in coordinating and delivering memorable experiences for our clients.
Position Overview:
The Event Planner will be responsible for managing all aspects of event coordination, from initial client consultation to execution. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work independently while building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to understand event vision, goals, and budget.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee weddings, parties, and other private events.
Create detailed event timelines and manage logistics.
Coordinate with vendors (caterers, decorators, entertainment, etc.) to ensure seamless execution.
Oversee setup and breakdown of events at the venue.
Provide on-site management and support during events.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Work with ownership on marketing strategies, packages, and client outreach.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or related field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in fast-paced situations.
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and flexible hours as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
$20 per hour, with opportunity for commission-based earnings (structure to be determined).
