Right now, we’re seeking a friendly, adaptable, and hard-working Garden Center Associate to support our team as we navigate the Christmas season.

Job Title: Garden Center Associate

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Schedule: Part-time | Friday's 3pm - 7pm and Saturday's 10am - 7pm | Seasonal | Immediate Availability

Job Summary:

This is a hands-on, customer-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and plants in a dynamic, ever-changing retail environment. As we shift into the holiday season, you'll assist with everything from outdoor garden goods to indoor Christmas displays. Flexibility is key — no two days are quite the same!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with garden and seasonal product selections
• Transition product areas from summer to holiday (e.g. replacing lawn goods with Christmas décor)
• Restock, organize, and maintain clean displays for tools, soils, pottery, ornaments, and more
• Assist in unloading trucks and preparing merchandise for sale
• Load customer purchases into vehicles as needed
• Maintain store cleanliness both indoors and outdoors

Qualifications:

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
