🧠 About the Role

As a Group Fitness Instructor at Jersey Strong, you’ll lead safe, exciting, and effective group training classes that inspire our members to move with purpose. Whether you’re leading strength, cardio, or MOSSA programming, your goal is to motivate, connect, and help members achieve results—while making it fun.

Jersey Strong’s Group Training Department powers thousands of workouts every day. Backed by our exclusive partnership with MOSSA (formerly Body Training Systems)—the global leader in group training education—you’ll gain access to top-tier programming, certification reimbursement, and continuous professional development.

✅ What You’ll Do

• Deliver fun, high-energy, and structured classes that follow MOSSA and Jersey Strong programming
• Modify sessions for all fitness levels while ensuring safety and effectiveness
• Maintain attendance, member engagement, and class quality
• Participate in instructor development sessions and maintain active certifications
• Help build a positive, results-focused club culture

💰 Compensation

• Pay Range: $20 – $50 per class
• Pay is determined by:
  • Number of active MOSSA certifications you currently teach
  • Tenure with Jersey Strong
• Pay Schedule: Biweekly (paid on the 1st and 15th for the previous pay period)
• MOSSA Certification Reimbursement: Available after course completion and active class instruction

✅ Requirements

• Energetic, motivating, and coachable
• Passion for fitness and member success
• Willing to lead MOSSA formats (e.g., Group Power, Group Fight, etc.)
• Comfortable performing “on stage” in a team training environment
• Preferred: Current certification (e.g., AFAA, ACE, NASM, or MOSSA)
