RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead risk analyses and safety audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Develop and oversee advanced health and safety training programs and provide training for managers.
• Manage incidents and coordinate corrective actions, while supervising the use of PPE and managing H&S projects.
• Teach proactive H&S risk management strategies at all levels of the organization and maintain emergency plans.
• Prepare detailed reports for management and communicate the results of H&S initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety in the manufacturing industry
• Mastery of regulations and application at the plant level.
• Must have union manufacturing plant experience.
• Expertise in risk analysis and safety audits.
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines and other state and local safety regulations
• Incident management and implementation of corrective measures.
• Development and supervision of H&S programs.
• Effective management of PPE and H&S projects.
