Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking to hire an experienced Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic in Lubbock, Texas. You will be impressed with our updated, 16 bay service shop with state-of-the-art equipment and lifts. Inland draws from a vast parts inventory covering everything from light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks. We pride ourselves on fast, professional, on-the-truck service, ranging from diagnostics to repairs. We sets the industry standard for remanufactured transmissions, drivelines, clutches and more. An in-house component shop and on-site reman facility guarantees quality control and quick turnaround.

Job Responsibilities for a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic

Work schedule: Monday – Friday, NO WEEKENDS or NIGHTS

The position will involve, but not be limited to, the following:

Perform diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks
Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry. For example: hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc.
Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment
Work independently, as well as part of a team

Preference given to candidates who have 5 years of experience, are self-motivated and detail oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly, and a desire for career advancement.
