Description We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Brockton, Massachusetts. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting onboarding processes and administrative tasks to ensure a seamless experience for new employees. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for HR and a proactive approach to providing excellent service. Responsibilities: - Facilitate the onboarding process for all new team members, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately. - Prepare and distribute comprehensive new permanent packets and orientation materials. - Conduct I-9 verifications and handle prior authorizations in compliance with regulations. - Act as a liaison to address employee inquiries and provide exceptional customer service. - Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create, manage, and update HR-related documents. - Collaborate with team members to maintain organized and efficient HR records. - Support HR initiatives by assisting with administrative tasks and employee relations activities. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during onboarding processes. - Monitor and follow up on pending documentation or approvals. - Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and attentive work environment for all employees. Requirements - Previous experience in human resources or onboarding processes is required. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. - Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality. - Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Familiarity with I-9 verifications and prior authorization procedures. - A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. - Knowledge of HR best practices and employee relations principles.
