Manufacturing Engineer - JPC79

Pay: $40,000 - 120,000/year + Benefits

Industry: Plastic

Schedule: Monday - Friday

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing new tooling and project transitions, ensuring smooth hand-offs to operations, and optimizing manufacturing automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, tooling design, and secondary operations within a contract manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all new tooling and project elements are well communicated and in place for successful hand-offs to operations.
• Apply extensive hands-on engineering knowledge of plastic injection molding and secondary operations, with a focus on part manufacturability and tooling design.
• Utilize expertise in various manufacturing automation areas to enhance efficiency.
• Work comfortably with PLC and robotic programming to support automation initiatives.
• Operate within an ISO9001:2008 or similar Quality Management System (QMS) framework.
• Determine project specifications by analyzing product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Create, modify, and update standards within ERP systems, processes, and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
• Must have 3-5 years of experience and/or training in the plastic injection molding field.
• Experience in a contract manufacturing organization preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tooling design and manufacturing automation.
• Proficiency in PLC and robotic programming.
• Experience working within ISO9001:2008 or similar QMS environments.
