We're hiring a Mechanical Engineer III with a solid foundation in engineering principles and a passion for the nuclear industry. This is a highly impactful role supporting system and component reliability in a commercial nuclear environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Act as a System Engineer – you'll develop and implement trending and monitoring plans to ensure long-term system health.
• Drive engineering solutions by performing technical evaluations, causal analyses, and supporting functional testing and equipment maintenance (both planned and emergent).
• Review and approve mechanical engineering plans from equipment vendors.
• Collaborate with design, regulatory, and hardware/software leads to ensure all requirements are fully understood and integrated.
• Use your engineering judgment to prioritize tasks, solve moderately complex challenges, and contribute to cost analyses and recommendations.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 5+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience—ideally on large capital projects in the commercial nuclear industry.
• A strong grasp of configuration management and engineering design processes.
• A 4-year degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent international accreditation per Washington Accord guidelines).
• Strong communication skills (technical writing included) and the ability to lead, collaborate, and think analytically in a team environment.
