Your Responsibility
In this role, you will be a vital right hand to the Vice President & Manager, helping to oversee daily operations, technical services, customer support, and team performance across all areas of the propane business.
You will be responsible for supervising personnel, supporting hiring, training, and performance management efforts that align with safety, service, and profitability goals.
You will perform and oversee fieldwork including propane installations, appliance servicing, vehicle inspections, and grounds maintenance.
You will be responsible for administrative and financial functions such as budget development, inventory control, and customer account management.
You will contribute to safety compliance by helping ensure all DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations are consistently followed.
You will communicate directly with customers, providing knowledgeable guidance on service needs, tank sizing, appliance installation, and propane system safety.
You will serve as a versatile team leader—one who can support route operations, troubleshoot field issues, and drive strategic improvements in service quality and cost control.
What We Are Looking For
In this position, you will have a strong working knowledge of propane systems, appliances, and industry regulations, including a Class B CDL with hazardous materials, air brake, and tank endorsements (or ability to obtain).
You will be responsible for field and business operations, ideally in a utility, propane, or energy-related setting.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, support customers, and coordinate across departments.
You will be detail-oriented and capable of juggling multiple priorities including service coordination, budgeting, inventory, and compliance tracking.
You will be committed to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement—and ready to grow into a future leadership role within our company.
You will have a college degree (preferred) or relevant industry experience combined with education and technical certification in business, engineering, or leadership.
