PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position Location: El Paso, TX Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10s Days Pay: $1935/week Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PACU RN to provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate is experienced in post-anesthesia nursing, highly observant, and able to respond quickly to changes in patient condition. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver safe, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from anesthesia in the immediate post-operative phase. * Monitor vital signs, airway, and pain levels, intervening as needed to ensure patient stability. * Administer medications and treatments as ordered, including pain and nausea management. * Assess patient readiness for transfer or discharge, providing education and support to patients and families. * Respond rapidly to emergency situations, applying advanced clinical skills. * Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize outcomes. * Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress accurately in the medical record. Qualifications: * Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing * Current RN license in TX * Experience: Minimum 1+ year of recent PACU or critical care experience required * Certifications Required: *
