Job Description

Bradford House in Oklahoma City, OK is looking for one part time night watchmen to join our 48 person strong team. We are located on 1235 NW 38th Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

Position Overview 

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Watchman to oversee the safety and security of our hotel during overnight hours. In addition to security responsibilities, this role may require assisting with guest check-ins and basic front desk support as needed during the night shift. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor hotel premises to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property 
• Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas 
• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access points 
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns 
• Check in arriving hotel guests during overnight hours and provide basic front desk assistance as needed 
• Handle minor incidents or disturbances and escalate issues when necessary 
• Assist with emergency procedures (fire alarms, medical incidents, evacuations) 
• Complete nightly logs and incident reports 
• Coordinate with front desk staff or management as needed 

Qualifications & Skills 

• Prior experience in security, hospitality, or night operations preferred 
• Comfort using basic computer systems or hotel property management systems (training provided) 
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills 
• Calm, professional demeanor with excellent judgment 
• Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight shifts 
• Basic communication and report-writing skills 
• Physically able to walk and stand for extended periods
