PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-  Pediatric Day Healthcare Center

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring compassionate  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  to provide skilled nursing care to medically complex infants, toddlers, and young children in our  Pediatric Day Healthcare Center . All hours Monday – Friday . No weekends, nights or holidays!  Previous p ediatric experience is  required. If you are passionate about kids, this is an outstanding opportunity to develop specialized skills and gain nursing experience in a fun pediatric setting. 

COVID-19 Precautions:

• Personal protective equipment provided

Qualifications for  LPN Position:  

• Active LA Nursing License 
• At least one year of pediatric nursing experience is required
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (can be obtained during orientation) 

LPN  Position Details:  

• Provide skilled nursing care to children ages birth to 8 years old in a developmentally appropriate center-based setting 
• Follow physician orders for plan of care and provide documentation of care delivered 
• Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies 
• Participate as a vital member of our multidisciplinary team
