Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring that production schedules and quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will lead a team of production technicians, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused environment, while driving operational excellence through monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise daily production activities, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met.
+ Lead and mentor a team of production technicians, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
+ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as yield, throughput, and on-time delivery to drive operational excellence.
+ Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Coordinate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
+ Maintain accurate production documentation, including inspection records, shift reports, and material usage logs.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal protocols, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR requirements.
+ Support onboarding and skills training for new hires.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing or supervisory experience, ideally in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
+ Demonstrated leadership in guiding production teams and achieving results through metrics and lean principles.
+ Strong understanding of KPI management and continuous improvement methods.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination.
+ Reliable attendance in a shift-based manufacturing setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with electric motor manufacturing or similar technical environments.
+ Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or other process improvement methodologies.
+ Technical aptitude for machinery setup, troubleshooting, or calibration.
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering-related field.
Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
