Position Overview:  We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Mount Pleasant, Texas. You will  play a crucial role in leading, monitoring, and supervising our employees to achieve organizational goals. Your leadership will foster a positive environment that promotes communication, teamwork, and flexibility. By empowering and guiding your team, you will drive the success and growth of both the team and the organization.    Key Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The duties listed below are representative of the essential functions, qualifications, physical demands, and the work environment encountered in this position. 

• Day-to-Day Management of Operations in our Production area ensuring smooth operations of our Harvest and Packing area. Must monitor production for efficiency and that all safety practices are being followed and maintained.  

• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operations on multiple pieces of equipment is done.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
• Ability to train others on operations and functions of the equipment
• Collect and enter data

Qualifications:

• Able to accommodate flexible work schedule according to business needs
• Ability to lift or move a minimum 40 pounds
• Ability and willingness to be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, temperatures between 35 and 90 degrees, and safely work near moving mechanical parts, and equipment
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a plus. 

Education and Experience:

• 3 years or more of supervisory experience working in a packaging industry or greenhouse experience is preferred. 
• High School diploma or GED
