In order to be successful as a Program Manager, you need to be comfortable driving business decisions in an ambiguous work environment, interfacing and coordinating with various functional teams both internally and externally, and driving results through both quantitative and qualitative strategies. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work with data independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. This role will include a mix of long-term strategic projects and short-term tactical tasks. Key job responsibilities - Work with internal stakeholders in category management, category instock, supply chain, operations, and product management to collaborate on supply chain improvement initiatives - Meet with instock managers to discuss opportunities and implement standard ways of working - Identifying automation opportunities, improving non-automated processes, and building to scale. - Influence technical teams to drive adoption of standards and creation of tools to manage: inventory health, item-level forecasting, purchase order quality, vendor self-service, and supply chain operations - Building and maintaining knowledge management tools Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or a Supply Chain Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights 2+ years of extensive excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) or tableau / dashboard experience 2+ years of program management, product management, or analytics experience Preferred Qualifications Strong proficiency in business intelligence, including creation of complex queries using SQL, statistical analysis, validation of data sets, and distillation of data into actionable insights Advanced proficiency in Excel and building out a suite of reporting Experienced in making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders Familiarity with leading large scale process ideation through implementation to solve technical or data driven challenges. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
