Provide overall leadership, guidance, and management of all aspects of the projects
Follow and ensure compliance with established project roles and responsibilities.
Identify and plan for needed resources.
Assist with developing and manage project timelines, including the sequence and cadence.
Develop, maintain, store and archive project plans, artifacts, and required documentation for each procurement project in the portfolio in coordination with the project team.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications and status reporting.
Coordinate stakeholder participation in project planning, execution, control, and closure, maximizing involvement during each.
Assist with contract management to ensure compliance with the statement of work requirements.
Perform risk management, to include identifying and documenting risks, and recommending and employing risk-mitigation strategies.
Documents action items and business decisions.
Facilitate meetings and/or presentation tasks as needed.
Manage schedules for deliverables as established. Monitor, manage, and report on the critical path dependencies between Modernization projects
Perform other duties as assigned as required to complete each project.
SALARY RANGE: 110K TO 120K Per Annum
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:
7 years : Experience in management of large-scale projects with significant technology components, including system integration, resource management, procurement transition, and vendor management.
7 years : Experience overseeing the planning and execution of major projects, including facilitation and documentation of high-level critical path dependencies across multiple projects.
5 years : Demonstrated ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions; to develop and evaluate policies and procedures; to prepare reports; and to plan, assign, and supervise the work of others.
5 years : Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on tight deadlines.
5 years : Experience successfully leading meetings and facilitating discussion between multiple stakeholder groups, including vendors.
5 years : Ability to establish project goals and objectives that support the State and HHS strategic plans as well as federal directives.
5 years : Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.
5 years : Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently perform a variety of complicated tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
5 years : Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
5 years : Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5 years : Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
4 years : Experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems, including Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
2 years : Experience with Texas Health and Human Services programs.
1 year : PMI ACP, PMI PMP, or SAFe Agile Certification.
