Job Summary - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Analyst with a strong background in API testing, Portal UI testing, file format validation, data mapping reconciliation, and SQL expertise.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in regression testing and a solid understanding of business flows within the banking domain, including transaction processing, compliance, and financial data integrity.
- Banking Domain Knowledge experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for APIs, web portals, and backend systems.
- Validate various file formats (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV) and ensure accurate data mapping and reconciliation across systems.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand business flows and translate them into test scenarios.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard QA tools.
- Test banking workflows such as account creation, fund transfers, loan processing, and transaction reconciliation.
- Validate compliance with financial regulations (e.g., KYC, AML, SOX).
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems.
- Test integration points with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party financial services.
- Perform end-to-end testing of banking portals used by customers and internal staff.
- Validate audit trails and reporting features for financial transactions.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business teams for banking applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills - Experience 8 years of QA experience with a focus on API and Portal testing.
- Solid Banking Domain experience.
- Strong understanding of file formats, data mapping, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficient in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Exerience with regression testing and test automation tools is a plus.
- Solid grasp of banking domain workflows and terminology.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, etc.,).Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
