Role Purpose
The Sr. Mortgage Business Analyst is responsible for extraction and preparation of data within the mortgage division. This role involves sourcing, cleaning, and organizing large datasets to ensure they are ready for analysis. The analyst works closely with IT and data engineering teams to maintain data integrity and streamline data collection processes. By ensuring the availability of accurate and comprehensive data, they support the analytical efforts of the organization, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning. Their work is crucial in laying the groundwork for further analysis that drives efficiency, enhances customer experience, and boosts profitability.

As our Senior Mortgage Business Analyst, you will:

• Reporting: Create reports and BI dashboards to present insights to management.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to identify business issues and develop solutions.
• Analyze and Evaluate: Dive deep into mortgage processes to pinpoint improvement areas.
• Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data to spot trends and opportunities.
• Strategy Development: Create and roll out strategies to optimize operations, boost profits, and enhance customer experience.
• Expert Support: Provide expertise to support stakeholders and teams.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

 
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a few variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in, SQL, Altair, SAS-EG, Python, Google Cloud Platform, LookML
• Knowledge of Looker
• Strong understanding of mortgage regulations, products, and services
• Strong experience in data and/or business analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Experience with Black Knight’s MSP and Passport data query tool (Desirable)
• Mortgage servicing business analysis (Desirable)
• Experience in managing projects and implementing technical solutions (Desirable)
