Job Description

A server is responsible for the following duties and tasks:

• Engage with guests, team members and managers to make a positive lasting impression
• Ensure and promote safety and cleanliness
• Serve alcohol to guests following safe alcohol service guidelines and local, state and federal laws
• Take guests' orders and accurately enter them in our POS system
• Prepare beverages, desserts & soups
• Anticipate and fulfill guest requests
• Deliver food and beverages to guests
• Particiate in team pre-bussing and running of food, offer to help fellow team members
• Help to ensure the restaurant is set up for success by stocking side stations & completing sidework
• Process payments, including making change for cash payments
• Light cleaning
• Communicate openly with management regarding any work-related concerns

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• A minimum of one year of serving experience in a full service restaurant with a bar
• Must be guest focused, proactive, charismatic, outgoing and approachable
• Must have a valid Food Handler Card
• Able to speak, read and understand English
• Has excellent verbal communication & interpersonal skills
• Can perform basic mathmatic calculations
• Able to solve problems, adapt to change easily and multi-task
• Able to work positively in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work effectively within a team
• Able to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency and able to meet deadlines
• Able to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
• Have continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching & twisting
