Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• A Software Engineer is needed to participate in the development of new radar software and in the sustainment of existing radar software. The candidate will work within a small team of engineers on software development and software maintenance of OTH Radar systems and similar associated systems. Develop, maintain code and integrate with hardware for real-time and off-line applications. Implement and test software modifications and algorithms using C++ and MATLAB. Software will be professionally packaged, tested, documented, and delivered for use by others. Good programming practice and testing is required. The quality of the software will be at TRL level 7 – System prototype demonstration in an operational environment.

Skills:

• Expert in MATLAB and C++
• Experience with AI/ML
• Experience with software integration of radar hardware
• Experience using DDS open architecture development (RTI implementation preferred)
• Experience with standard signal processing techniques (Fourier transforms, filters, etc.)
• Experience in OTH Radar
• Prior experience with radar tracking and radar signal processing
• The candidate should be well versed in all aspects of software development including: management, documentation, coding standards, configuration control and software testing
• Possess strong skills in engineering troubleshooting, being able to identify and remediate faults that present themselves within the system.

Education/Experience:

• Familiarity with parallel processing
