What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a Sr. Real Estate Manager with retail and industrial expertise to play a key role in the company's continued growth. This position is responsible for supporting Tesla’s retail, factory, warehousing, logistics, office, temporary parking, and energy real estate needs in the Midwest or Northeast regions. The Sr. Real Estate Manager will work cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales, Production Control, Supply Chain, Logistics, Energy, Construction, Design, Legal, Finance, and Lease Administration, as well as external partners such as landlords, developers, brokers, and advisers to lead new location development. This role will be based in Chicago or New York City. What You'll Do Lead site selection and lease negotiations for support, parking, and storage locations across the Midwest or NortheastAnalyze economic, demographic, and market data to identify and prioritize key locationsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to develop business cases and validate real estate strategyManage broker and landlord relationships, negotiating LOIs, leases, and work letters in partnership with the Legal teamEnsure compliance with zoning and DMV licensing requirements by county and stateOversee deal timelines, budgets, and property standards through project completionSupport lease terminations, consolidations, expansions, renewals, and relocations as needed
What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, Economics, Finance or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience in transactional real estate, including leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions across multiple asset typesStrong negotiation skills and understanding of real estate and legal principlesProficiency in creating and analyzing Pro Formas, cash flow models, and deal structuresExperience with municipal planning, zoning procedures, and site due diligenceSkilled in demographic and financial data analysis and reporting at the executive levelProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with willingness to travel up to 50%

Associate Real Estate Specialist - $64,000 - $96,000/annual salaryReal Estate Specialist - $80,000 - $120,000/annual salarySr Real Estate Specialist - $100,000 - $150,000/annual salary
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
