Job Description

Role: Technical Product Owner

Location: Remote

Experience Required: 10+ years

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ yrs of strong development experience in Java or other web technologies

  • Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements and explain it in a concise and distilled manner to the Product managers, architects, developers and stakeholders.

  • Ability to write detailed business and functional requirements.

  • 3+ years Business Analysis or Product Owner experience in one or more of the following categories: software/hardware, web, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or consumer packaged goods, with a focus on requirement gathering, documenting technical requirements, writing user stories

  • 2+ yrs of working in an Agile environment. Knowledge of SCRUM methodologies

  • Strong working knowledge of Web Services & RestFul API's

  • Knowledge of tools like POSTMAN, SWAGGER

  • 3+ yrs of demonstrated experience writing detailed Web services related user stories.

  • Strong working knowledge of commerce functionality. For eg: Cart, Checkout, Catalog, Tax, Inventory, Promotions, Browse

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to convey business and technical concepts to subject matter experts and non-technical professionals.

  • Ability to present product functionality, lifecycle and customer experience to stakeholders.

  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.

  • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties.

  • Telecom Wireless Domain Experience

  • E-Commerce knowledge is bonus

  • Start date is ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for understanding client requirements and working with the Platform team in creating a generic capability that can span across tenants.

  • Collaborates with marketing, experience product teams and enterprise technology to create requirement set.

  • Responsible for highlighting and documenting solutions at a technical architecture level

  • Responsible in creating technical user stories for the sprint teams, test and accept the delivered solutions.

  • Track in-sprint progress of deliverables along with the scrum master

  • Work with the Platform Product Managers to align the sprint stories to the overall product road map.
