Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled English to Vietnamese Translator to aid in effectively communicating and bridging language gaps for our client. The ideal candidate will have mastery of both languages, with experience in translating or interpreting in professional settings. If you're detail-oriented, culturally sensitive, and adept at converting written and spoken content promptly and accurately, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and rewarding projects. Key Responsibilities: + Translate written documents, forms, or other materials from English to Vietnamese and vice versa with accuracy and cultural sensitivity. + Provide interpretation services for meetings, both virtual and in-person, as needed. + Ensure all translations maintain the original tone, meaning, and intention of the source material. + Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to understand project needs and deadlines. + Proofread and edit translated content for grammatical and contextual accuracy. + Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information discreetly. Requirements + Fluency in both English and Vietnamese (spoken and written). + Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, preferably in a professional or corporate setting. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. + Strong knowledge of Vietnamese cultural nuances and regional language variations. + Proficiency in translation tools or software is a plus. + Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
