Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Waste Operations Manager located in Flagstaff, AZ.

The Medical Waste Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of medical waste management, including the collection, transportation, and disposal of medical waste.Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, optimizing the efficiency of waste management processes, and addressing and resolving any operationalissues.

The role also involves managing and training staff, maintaining safety standards, andcollaborating with other departments to improve workflow and service quality.

Qualifications Experience in waste management, environmental services, or a related field Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to medical waste management Ability to manage staff and provide effective training Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership skills Proficiency with relevant software and technology (AI, and see below). Ability to work collaboratively with owner, and desire to experience small business growth and dynamics. Experience with safety and compliance standards in waste management Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, or a related field is preferred Certification in Waste Management or Environmental Services is a plusand organizational tasks to support an office or department, including scheduling,correspondence, record-keeping, and assisting other staff members.

Grow the business clientele base.

Manage, acquire, and invoice Federal contracts (SAM.GOV, IPP.GOV, USASPENDING.GOV)

General Support:Assisting with office tasks, such as ordering supplies and managing equipment.Taking and distributing messages.Other Responsibilities:Will take charge with data entry, business financials, research, or other tasks as needed.Will be responsible for managing budgets or processing invoices.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
