The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI-Shot, Remington and Speer. We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries.
As such, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Photographer to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality studio images of products that resonate with our brand identity to engage our audience across various platforms, all while maintaining a digital database of photography.
This position reports to the Videographer Manager and is based out of our Anoka office.
**What you'll do:**
+ Plan and shoot photography that aligns with our brand aesthetics and our marketing strategies.
+ Manage and execute post-production processes to ensure all images meet our quality criteria.
+ Curate and maintain image databases to ensure optimal searchability.
+ Maintain a photography studio and organize physical assets in a cataloguing system.
+ Collaborate within the marketing team to support other graphic design, photography, and videography projects.
**Experience you bring:**
+ Proven experience as a product photographer, with a portfolio showcasing a range of work.
+ A strong understanding of cameras, lighting techniques, and composition.
+ Proficient in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
+ An understanding of color correcting processes.
+ Ability to work independently to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
+ Highly skilled in organizing digital assets as well as physical assets.
**You might have:**
+ Experience with digital asset management (DAM) systems and photo archiving solutions.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
+ Experience with Capture One software.
+ Familiarity with OrbitVu photo capture hardware and software.
**Work Environment:**
Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
**Pay Range:**
$65,800.00 - $92,100.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
