This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment and support the growth of our engineering and technical teams. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent while building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers. You will develop and execute strategic recruitment initiatives, leveraging multiple sourcing channels, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate has expertise in recruiting within technical, engineering, or industrial sectors, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position can be hybrid or fully remote, offering flexibility to work from a location that suits you.

Accountabilities:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate talent acquisition activities to support company growth.
  • Source, screen, interview, evaluate, and present candidates to hiring managers.
  • Utilize social media platforms, job boards, employee referrals, and other sourcing strategies to attract talent.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines through partnerships with schools, universities, training programs, and industry organizations.
  • Coordinate interviews, guide managers through the selection process, and consult on offers and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with HR for onboarding, reference checks, and pre-employment procedures.
  • Track recruitment metrics, report on status, and continuously improve sourcing strategies.
  • Attend career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the company and attract top talent.
  • Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in engineering, utility, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proven success managing high-volume recruitment (40+ vacancies) and delivering measurable KPIs.
  • Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Must be able to pass post-offer drug and alcohol testing and maintain eligibility for random testing.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with insurance.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting in electric, gas, water utilities, or heavy industry.
  • Familiarity with sourcing strategies for technical and engineering roles.
