Senior Subcontracts Administrator – Construction/Engineering Industry

🔹 About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Subcontracts Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will manage and administer subcontract agreements essential to project execution, ensuring compliance with company policies, project requirements, and legal standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless coordination and contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Subcontract Management: Administer subcontract agreements to ensure timely execution and compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.
✅ Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate schedules, monitor performance, and resolve any delivery or compliance issues.
✅ Contract Negotiation and Execution: Review, negotiate, and execute terms with subcontractors, securing favorable conditions while aligning with project specifications.
✅ Cost Control & Risk Management: Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure cost control, prevent scope creep, and mitigate project risks.
✅ Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of subcontract agreements, change orders, and project documentation. Prepare detailed reports on subcontractor performance, financial status, and project progress.
✅ Compliance & Dispute Resolution: Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards. Address and resolve disputes related to subcontractor performance and contractual obligations.
✅ Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, legal, and finance teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
🔹 Required Qualifications:
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
💼 Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or project management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
📚 Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and industry regulations.
📝 Skills:
🎖️ Certifications: Certification in Contract Management or Project Management (e.g., CCM, PMP) is a plus.
