Work From Home – Virtual Assistant and Data Entry (Freight Dispatcher & Truck Driver Recruiter Support)

We're Truck Driver Nation, based in Roselle, Illinois, and we're on the hunt for a dependable and organized Virtual Assistant to support our Freight Dispatching and Truck Driver Recruiting teams. If you're detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to thrive in the fast-paced transportation industry, this remote role is for you.

What You'll Do:

• Assist dispatchers with load booking, tracking, and check calls to keep our drivers moving.
• Support recruiters by screening truck driver candidates, verifying documents, and scheduling follow-ups.
• Process applications using platforms like Breezy and Tenstreet for seamless recruitment workflows.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, brokers, and team members via phone, text, and email.
• Maintain accurate records, update spreadsheets, and manage compliance files in our CRM systems.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

Preferred Platforms and Tools:

• Load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) for sourcing freight.
• Tenstreet and driver onboarding tools for recruitment processes.
• CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) for managing leads and data.
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for documentation and collaboration.
• Communication tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Voice, WhatsApp) for team and driver interactions.
• Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software for data tracking.
• Ring Central, Dial Pad, etc

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dispatching or driver recruiting is preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free work environment.
